Abstract

Today, adolescent violence is on the increase with more and more grave and particularly grave crimes committed daily by the youth. These actions are in violation of social norms and indicate deviant adolescent behavior. Thus, deviants pose a high social risk which makes them a social group that requires a special attention. Teenagers are an integral part of society as a whole, hence, their actions can harm a significant number of people. Fewer cases of deviant behavior shown by adolescents will improve the emotional state of residents of different age and make them feel more comfortable. Unfortunately, over time, adolescents have stopped seeing value and importance of work and studies. Instead, they are getting more and more interested in material goods. Due to their young age and sudden physiological changes, adolescents are more sensitive than others to unfavorable environment in the country. They find it difficult to adapt to the rules of modern life. It is worth noting that deviant behavior in adolescents results from their relationships with family, teachers and other members of society. This article notes an increase in the number of cases of deviant behavior among adolescents, which determines the relevance of the search for new exciting and engaging ways of social and educational remediation of deviant behavior. The article analyses such concepts as deviant behavior, social and educational remediation. It focuses on the main causes and manifestations of tive ways to curb deviant behavior in adolescents. It provides the definition of the concept ‘business game’ and reveals the educational potential of business games for students both during and after its implementation. The article also suggests a game structure so that a teacher, a school psychologist or a social teacher can independently develop a game for a specific case. It explains how business games differ from other kinds of games and outlines their features and most effective applications in working with students.
