The article addresses the challenge of reconciling the existing system of psychological and educational support with the expectations of relevant stakeholders. It analyses the historical and cultural development of psychological services in Russia and internationally, considering the territorial specifics and legal, scientific and methodological foundations of these services. The article outlines the stages in the development of psychological service and highlights the contributions of key figures in this field, including L. S. Vygotsky, M. Ya. Basov, I. A. Aryamov, P. P. Blonsky, A. B. Zalkind, L. I. Bozhovich, D. B. Elkonin, I. V. Dubrovina, M. R. Bityanova, V. E. Pakhalyan, and E. I. Metelkova. To assess the current state of psychological services in the Krasnoyarsk education system, we gathered insights from primary stakeholder groups: representatives of educational ities, teachers, educational psychologists, students and parents. The assessment was based on the specifically tailored criteria and indicators of psychological service effectiveness. Based on expert feedback, we designed a model of psychological service in the education system. The model is grounded in key psychological principles and emphasizes readiness for change, relevance of psychological and educational support, motivation for personal development and the development of stakeholders in education, emotional acceptance and satisfaction with the provided psychological services. The article describes the key mechanisms for implementing the model and outlines the stages of its testing. Preliminary findings indicate positive dynamics in the implementation of the regional model of psychological support. The improvements directly benefit the clients and practitioners, i.e., stakeholders in education. Notable advancements include enhanced psychological competence among educational leaders and a greater willingness to adapt the psychological service, confirming the effectiveness of the new model.Downloads
