Developing constructive patriotic attitudes in the adolescence: analysis of current practices

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study aimed at analyzing current Russian practices of patriotism formation in children, adolescents and youth, presented in publications 2021–2024 indexed in the E-liblary. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the analysis were: 1) the interpretation of patriotism as a sociopsychological phenomenon; 2) the differentiation of constructive and blind patriotism as two different forms of patriotic attitudes; 3) empirically based data on the value and socio-psychological predictors of constructive patriotism. odicals with the phrase "formation of patriotism" in the /. metadata were analyzed. After an initial assessment, 97 articles were recognized as relevant to the purpose of the study. The publications selected for analysis were subjected to a qualitative analysis, during which we took into account: 1) theoretical and methodological validity of the proposed approaches/technologies; 2) age and level of edThe analysis of the "targets" of psychological and pedagogical influences showed that most of them are aimed at forming the civic identity of children, adolescents and youth (62.3% of the total number of analyzed "targets"), which is a universal predictor of constructive and blind patriotism, 15.6% of the "targets" are associated with constructive patriotism, the rest with blind one. It is concluded that there is a shortage of scientifically based methods and approaches to the formation of constructive patriotism among adolescents and youth with proven effectiveness. The proposed to integrate socio-psychological technologies into the work on the formation of constructive patriotism in the adolescent environment, contributing to the strengthening of civic identity in the context of reflection on the complexity of the structure of the social world and the values of selfdevelopment.
