The article details the importance of the educator officer in the cadet corps, especially in the field of Information Technology (IT). The educator officers are not just teachers or mentors for students, but play a crucial role in their personal and professional development. It is their guidance that establishes the psychological climate among the students, which influences their learning, research and involvement in the profession. The psychological atmosphere created by the educator officer directly correlates with the cohesion within the student team and their attitude to learning. This atmosphere also determines the degree of students’ participation in research activities and their involvement in community service projects. The system of values and norms of behavior formed by the educator officer contributes to the personality development of each student, guiding them to achieve professional and personal goals. The educator officer pays special attention not only to academic achievements of students but also to the development of communication skills, ethical behavior and leadership qualities. It can be argued that the effectiveness of cadet training is largely determined by the quality of the educator officer’s work. In addition to teaching specific disciplines, the socialization of students is also important. The educator officer forms not only professional competencies in students, but also value orientations, which become a support in their future career. Thus, the understanding of teamwork, responsibility and ethical norms instilled in the corps ensures successful specialists’ interaction in the future professional community. However, it is necessary to understand that the role of educator officers depends on their own competencies. Only the appropriate education, professional experience and deep understanding of educational work will allow them to effectively fulfill their duties. The educational system built by the educator officer should be continuous and adapted to the needs of each student. Such an individual approach helps not only to reveal the students’ potential, but also contributes to their successful adaptation to the professional sphere after graduation. The educator officers play a key role in the cadet training and education. Their professionalism, experience and personal qualities directly influence the development of future IT specialists.Downloads
